Why Proverbs 31:28?

Before you think I’m terribly prideful for putting Prov 31:28 on my blog let me explain.  This journey of being a wife and mom has not been as easy as I thought it would be back when I was single.  Don’t get me wrong, I love being a wife and mom.  But it can been really hard some days.

At the end of my life I want my children to call me blessed, I want my husband to praise me.  At the end of my life I want to look back with fondness and love to my children and husband.  When I first started this blog I found a place to complain (mostly to myself until people started reading!).  But that’s not what I want to leave my children, my husband.  So I’m hoping this blog will be more of an accountability for me.  A reminder every time I log in to be the kind of wife and mother that is called blessed, and is praised.  I have a long way to go. But I hope as the months roll on I can see a better person coming forth.
